Affrican Elephants

African animals are the species of elephants in the genus Loxodonta, one of the two existing genera in Elephandae. Generally African Elephants are bigger than Asian elephants.It falls into the group of mamalia.It is also known as BUSH ELEPHANT or SAVANNA ELEPHANT. The African Elephant is normally 6 to 7.3 metres in length and 3 to 3.5 metres in height.and weighing between 6000 to 9000 kg. The African Elephant is the largest living terrestrial elephant.
